No Harm Done

Merry Christmas!

Last night was our Christmas program at church. Both Brogan and Braden played a song. I videotaped their performance, but the lights were so dim that the only time you could see them is when someone's camera flashed.

So this morning I had them play their songs again, on our piano at home.

Here's Brogan playing "Angels We Have Heard on High."

Here's Braden playing "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." (He apologizes in advance for that last note.) :)

Merry Christmas!

Before you leave a comment I should say this: Yes, I know our piano needs to be tuned. But we're moving again soon (hopefully) and we're waiting to be settled before having the piano tuned.

Another comment and even on Christmas morning. Your letter was hilarious! Each quote was truly perfect. BTW Suzanne came to the Christmas Eve service. Kelly sang! Alex Krestan did as well.

Very enjoyable to hear them play! Do you teach them, Hillary? Sophie trotted over to listen too when she heard Braden's playing.

Hi Hillary!

Will you be able to continue with the current piano teacher when you move into a new place?

Our kids would probably enjoy playing less "highbrow" music occasionally, but that is all that their piano teacher will do at their level. Of course, I can't complain about her teaching, she is *excellent* and the best teacher in this area (yet charges less than any other teacher). She really knows how to stretch her students in a good way. I'm thinking that once our kids are quicker at sight-reading, it won't take away from their studies with her to play more popular pieces. For instance, I was just thinking this Christmas that it would be really fun for the kids to play the Charlie Brown theme song and Christmas theme!

I'm glad that you could use Evan and Matthew's pieces in your argument for classical music! ;-)
