Perhaps I Should Focus More on the Classics...
OK. For this post, we're going to need a little music to set the mood.
Please click on the video below to start it. You don't need to *watch* the video. In fact, there really isn't anything to watch. It's just a picture. So you can scroll down and continue reading. It's the music that's important, not the video.
Have you got the music playing? Yes? Then we'll continue.
There's almost always music playing in our house. Well, music and Rush Limbaugh, but, still - there's an awful lot of music. Primarily show tunes.
One of my favorite memories is of shopping at WalMart with Braden when he was not quite two. He was in the seat of the shopping cart singing "Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome! Fremde, etranger, stranger" from Cabaret.
Recently, I've started playing more and more classical music with the occasional Gregorian chant CD thrown in. This week I've been playing a lot of Mozart.
My Mozart CD is mostly happy music. I really like happy music.
Anyway, this afternoon I had the radio on and was listening to their 70's and 80's mix, when the song you're listening to came on the radio.
At this point, one of the boys walked into the room. This boy - who shall remain nameless, but who is definitely old enough to have known better - hesitates as he walks past the radio.
He listens to the song for a moment, turns to me and says, "Wow! Is this song from Mozart?...........Mom? Why are you laughing? ...........Mom?"

LOL!
BTW, when Logan hears the Rush Limbaugh bumper, he asks, "Is that MY song?"
LOL, Melissa!
"Yes, dear. It *is* your song.: :)
